Our Founder

Lifestyle Business Incubator is the brainchild of Ed Taylor, or Santa Ed, as he’s usually called. In his early 50’s Ed found himself stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. He needed to find a new source of income, he had no start-up capital and there was a deep gnawing in him that insisted on doing work that was meaningful, work that would produce income and personal contentment.

He became an Lifestyle Entrepreneur. For Ed it was being a professional and then creating an online Santa School that floated his boat. For the people he's interviewed it's been being a pig farmer, a gopher trapper, a copy editor and many other things. The point to all of this is- there is a SYSTEM, a process, that can get you from where you are now to where you want to be, at least as it relates to building a little business that will provide you with your Dream Job.

The Team

LBI team is made up of people who have done it. You learn from the direct experience of successful Lifestyle Entrepreneur’s.

Education as opposed to Information

Even before Santa Ed's book “How to Become an Encore Entrepreneur” book came out in 2015 the concept of LBI was in place. A book is, at best, information. Santa Ed's mission is far greater than being the source of more information. His mission is to provide education.

What’s the difference between Information & Education?
Here’s a quick & easy way to viscerally make the distinction. Ask yourself these 2 questions:
What changes in you when you get more information?
What changes in you when you get more education?

The contrast between your 2 answers might be very stark: nothing changes when I get more information and my whole life changes when I get more education.

Your answer may be less dramatic, but you get the idea.

When we get information, say in the form of a book, we may or may not even read it but when we get an education, say by taking a course on pottery, or public speaking, or dancing, or whatever… we change… for the better!

With Education we, and our instructors, are active participants.

With Information we may not even consume it, and if we do, the odds are good it will go in one ear and right out the other.

The “Lifestyle Business Incubator” is an Education Hub. You get the hands-on interaction that results in lasting change and personal improvement.
